OK, one more detail - an idea I got the other day

Now, after all this planning, and dedicating, etc. I HOPE I can make it - HOPE, mind you!

One last post before the ride begins.......

Since I need to FedEx the bike (in a box) to the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Astoria
in Astoria, Oregon on Monday June 14th in order for it to arrive by Friday June 18, I need to take the bike to the bike shop by Saturday June 12 to have them break it down and box it up for shipping. That means, I only have 24 more days left to ride and "train" for the big trip.....uh oh......

Guess I'd better stop blogging and start riding! See you on the road. Phillip

After the long ride......I want to cruise on a beach cruiser.....

the countdown starts tomorrow - 43 days to the big ride

Starting May 7, 2010, I have 43 days until I leave on June 19 to fly to Portland, OR and join the bike tour on June 20. You see how hard I'm training.....?

I'm "in training" - yeah, right.....
