It was a difficult ride for me today, up Mt. Hood and over the mountains. But, lots of beautiful scenery, too. My fellow riders are very supportive, and experienced bicyclists, and they have suggested I get faster tires and more handle bar grips and add-ons. I probably will do that in Boise, ID, at the good bike shop there. We have been staying at wonderful resorts and hotels so far. I'm very impressed. We are at the Kah-Nee-Ta Resort and Casino on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation tonight. What a great place for families. You'll see some of my pictures of the grounds, with Tee Pees to sleep in for families, and a great water park, with the natural warm springs, and lots for kids to do.
Seems so beautiful. Although the ride is grueling, the scenery and accommodations are a good reward for the effort.
